The Crimson Tide had seven players drafted in the 2025 NFL Draft:

RD 1 (12th overall) OG Tyler Booker – Dallas Cowboys

1 (31) LB Jihaad Campbell – Philadelphia Eagles

3 (92) QB Jalen Milroe – Seattle Seahawks

4 (130) S Malachi Moore – New York Jets

4 (134) EDGE Que Robinson – Denver Broncos

5 (175) TE Robbie Ouzts – Seattle Seahawks

6 (190) DT Tim Smith – Indianapolis Colts

A few other former Bama players were not as lucky, but it is not the end of the road for them. Before the actual draft was over, negotiations with undrafted free agents began. The first to be quickly snapped up was punter James Burnip. According to multiple source, the New Orleans Saints will bring the Australian into camp to compete for the starting job.

Former Vanderbilt punter Matthew Hayball took care of punting duties for the Saints last season after he himself was picked up as an UDFA a year ago. Hayball averaged 44.0 ypp as a rookie, a number that was among the worst of all full-time kickers last season. However, he did have the best percentage of boots downed inside the 20 at 54.7%.

Spotrac reports that Burnip signed a 3-year, $2,975,000 contract with New Orleans, including $10,000 signing bonus, $35,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $991,667. In 2025, Burnip will earn a base salary of $840,000 and a signing bonus of $10,000.

Four year starting longsnapper Kneeland Hibbett will follow in his grandfather Dennis Homan’s footstep to the NFL. He will be joining Tua Tagovailoa and Jaylen Waddle in Miami!

BREAKING: Confirmed reports that TE CJ Dippre will sign with the New England Patriots.

Other undrafted Tide player: K Graham Nicholson.

We will update this post as news rolls in.
