A Freshman All-American all the way back in 2020, Malachi Moore has had an up and down career at Alabama, losing his starting job to Brian Branch in 2021-2022 and then getting it back and ultimately becoming a team captain the last two seasons.
The Jets took a swing on him at pick #130 as a guy who can be a versatile, experienced depth piece in the secondary. New York swapped picks with the Eagles, moving up to pick No. 130 in the fourth round in order to select Moore. Philadelphia will receive pick Nos. 145 and 207 in exchange.
Moore is the 4th Alabama player off the board in what has shaped up to be another successful draft for the Crimson Tide.
