Anthony Davis has set a commitment date for Aug. 2, according to multiple reports.

Davis will choose between Alabama, Auburn, Michigan and Ole Miss. The Georgia product is a four-star linebacker prospect, who attends Grayson High School.

The Crimson Tide hosted the four-star for an official visit last month. He also previously spoke highly of the Tide.

“They are a great program,” Davis said. “Bama is Bama. They win, they put guys in the league.”

Davis also likes Alabama’s defense and the way the Tide use the linebacker position.

“They have a great defense,” Davis told Touchdown Alabama. “They run a great scheme. The linebackers are great. Linebackers play very fast and my style. They are great.”

At 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, Davis flows to the football with good closing speed with the ability to make effective tackles in open space. He looks like a natural while dropping back in coverage and works back downhill to make plays on the football with great efficiency.

The Alabama target finished the 2024 season with 105 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and three sacks.
