The Houston Texans are trading John Metchie to the Philadelphia Eagles, per NFL Insider, Jordan Schultz.

Metchie was selected by the Texans in the second round as the 44th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He missed his rookie season after being diagnosed with leukemia. He returned to the football field in 2024.

The former Alabama wideout pulled in 40 receptions for 412 yards and a touchdown as a Texan.
