Saturday night in Tiger Stadium marked one of the most impressive performances so far this season for the Alabama Crimson Tide, defeating the LSU Tigers by a final score of 42-13.

Simply put, Alabama dominated this game from the very start, and left no doubt as to whom was the top team between the Crimson Tide and Tigers on Saturday night.

A game that included many high’s, were there any low’s for the Crimson Tide on Saturday however?

Let’s take a look at this week’s stock report from Alabama’s Week 11 trip to Baton Rouge, and list three players/units who impressed, as well as three who struggled:

Stock Up: Jalen Milroe, Quarterback

Stats vs. LSU: 12-of-18, 109 passing yards, 12 rushes, 185 yards, 4 TD

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe had a big showing in Saturday night’s win over the Tigers, as he torched the LSU defense in the running game for the second-straight season. In all, Milroe rushed for a season-high 185 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 attempts, while also completing 12-of-18 pass attempts for 109 yards.

Stock Down: Alabama Kickoff Coverage

Stats vs. LSU: 5 kick returns, 143 yards

Alabama struggled at times Saturday night in kickoff return coverage, as LSU’s Zavion Thomas had a few big returns in the game. In all, Thomas had five returns for 143 yards, which translated to an average of 28.6 yards per return.

Stock Up: Jihaad Campbell, Linebacker

Stats vs. LSU: 12 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 3 TFL, 1 FF, 1 PD

Campbell was simply everywhere for the Alabama defense on Saturday night, leading the Crimson Tide with 12 total tackles in the win. The linebacker also posted three TFL with a season-high 1.5 sacks, one of which also forced a key fumble from LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier.

Stock Down: Alabama Fourth Down Defense

Stats vs. LSU: 2-of-3 conversions

While the Crimson Tide defense was good overall Saturday night, Alabama did however struggle to get off the field some on fourth downs. In all, Alabama allowed the LSU offense to convert two of their three fourth down attempts.

Stats vs. LSU: 10-of-13 conversions

Lastly, it’s hard to mention impressive things from this game, and not talk about Alabama’s success on third downs offensively. Alabama converted 10 of their 13 total attempts on third down against LSU, while the Tigers were 6-of-14.

Stock Down: Alabama Penalties

Stats vs. LSU: 7 penalties for 74 yards

In conclusion for the stocks trending down, while it was a big improvement from their road loss at Tennessee earlier in the year, Alabama still had some penalty issues at times Saturday. Alabama finished with seven total penalties for 74 yards, an area that the Crimson Tide will likely need to continue improving in going forward.
